Screen Printing
A long-established printing technique, screen printing
has become the standard for most commercial printing. Take a
look down any high street and you’ll see hundreds of
examples of screen-printed material – banner displays,
posters, adverts on the sides of buses.
Appletons screen printing system gives incredible –
almost photographic – levels of print quality.
Cost-effective for mass production, screen printing makes a
sensible solution for point-of-sale materials, estate agents
boards, or exterior signage.
Our state-of-the-art screen printing lab features a
revolutionary ‘Direct-To-Screen’ (DTS) process which makes
for amazingly quick turnaround times. The system allows
images to be taken direct from a PC – cutting out much of
the process involved in traditional methods where
preparation alone can take over 24 hours. With DTS, the same
result can be achieved in half an hour.
Our printers include 2 semi-automatic Svecia machines
with dryers, a large format printing unit (bed size 4.2m x
1.1m) as well as other smaller machines.
Appletons unique ‘Virtual Photo’ finish can be applied to
Mono, Duotone, or full colour prints (ask for sample pack).
We can print on a wide variety of materials including
plastics, glass, metals, wood, textiles and of course paper
and board.
